Adaptogenic Chocolate Protein Bundt Cake


What's better than chocolate protein bundt cake action? Having adoptogens in your chocolate protein bundt cake. :)

So simple to make, and perfect to bring to a party...or just enjoy for yourself. ;)

Adoptogens are great because they are natural substances considered to help the body adapt to stress and to exert a normalizing effect upon bodily processes. Some examples are ashwaganda, cordyceps, reishi, ginseng, and rhodiola. I always incorporate a few of them into my daily routine...and occasionally...into my dessert recipes!


  • 2 eggs
  • 3 tbsp raw honey 
  • 1/3 cup coconut oil, melted
  • 1/3 cup creamy cashew butter (or nut butter of choice)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp unsweetened almond milk
  • 2/3 cup Amoretti hazelnut flour (almond flour would work too)
  • 1 scoop vanilla vegan protein
  • 1 scoop Sports Research collagen peptides {optional}
  • 2 tbs unsweetened baking chocolate, melted
  • 2 tbs NuNaturals Dutch cocoa powder
  • 1 tbs maca {optional}
  • 1 tbs ashwaganda {optional}
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder

Sprinkled it with some unsweetened coconut flakes, pecans, and NuNaturals cocoa syrup. It was literally gone in about 0.7 seconds. Enjoy!
