Veggie-Filled Turkey Burgers
Finished another day of shooting today! So excited to start posting these recipe videos on my YouTube channel! We still have a lot of editing to do but we should have a few up on there so STAT.
I was totally craving a burger....so of course homemade spinach turkey burgers were instantly put in the works.
I combined organic ground turkey with:
- shredded brussel sprouts
- chopped spinach
- gluten-free panko crumbs
- Sports Research collagen peptides
- 1 egg
- basil + garlic + turmeric + pepper to taste
Combined everything and formed them into patties. I cooked them on a skillet on medium heat for a couple minutes on each side until they browned, and then stuck them in the oven for another 10 minutes at 350 degrees until they were cooked throughout. Perfect to throw on the grill as well!
I topped it with some salsa and peppers and wrapped it in greens instead of a bun. Soo good.
